Honor Tiles

Honor tiles have no numbers. There are four Winds (East, South, West, North) and three Dragons (Red, Green, White), with four copies of each.

Honor tiles can only form Pongs (3 of a kind) or Kong (4 of a kind) with themselves.

Turn Order

The game begins when the dealer discards the first tile. Play moves counter-clockwise.

On your turn, draw a tile from the wall, then discard one, keeping 13 tiles in hand.

Calling Discards

If another player's discard completes a set in your hand, you can call it, like Pong! here, and take it instead of drawing.

Set it face-up in front of you, then discard. Play continues from you, skipping anyone in between.

How to Win

You must have 4 sets and a pair to win a hand. A set is either a pong (3 of a kind), kong (4 of a kind), or chow (sequence).

Call Mahjong! and reveal your hand to win!
